PCI Multi-Band RF Tuner

The RF tuners employ the latest technology in surface mount and RF component construction to substantially reduce the size and provide for the widest possible RF tuner coverage in a full size PCI card form factor. System architecture incorporates both the first and second local oscillator design, as well as AM and AGC circuitry on one CCA. This CCA provides both linear and non-linear 70 MHz outputs for:

a) filtering and demodulation by the IF Receiver CCA; b) input and processing by the diversity combiner CCA; c) routing to other installed CCAs and/or internal devices; and rear panel BNC outputs for routing the signal to a variety of external devices

This CCA also provides a switched input for tape playback, injecting the up-converted 390 MHz from Tape Interface CCA (PCIP623) directly into the RF Front End.

These CCAs tune and operate in 100 kHz steps independent of all other installed receiver channels. Frequency coverage includes 1415-1585, 1650-1850, and 2185-2485 MHz.
