VIP-1A
Video Surveillance Over-the-Internet

The VIP-1A is a ‘video-over-the-internet’ product that allows tactical analog or digital video to be sent securely out over the internet. The video can come directly from a camera on such tasks as covert surveillance, anti-graffiti monitoring, and high-crime-area observations. The video can also come from other traditional video sources such as a microwave receiver or a video recorder. Operational and supervisory personnel can now watch tactical video on their computer (or even a PDA cell phone). The system is fully “plug-and-play”. One of its many features is the ability to accept an alarm input (e.g., motion detector) and automatically perform a pre-programmed function (e.g., send an email). The VIP-1A will also enable the operator to remotely control those video systems with pan, tilt, zoom, and focus capability.
